影片由《勇敢者游戏》系列导演杰克·卡斯丹执导，克里斯·摩根、海拉姆·加西亚执笔剧本，主演还包括刘玉玲、J·K·西蒙斯、邦尼·亨特、克里斯托弗·海维尤、琪兰·席普卡、玛丽·伊丽莎白·埃利斯等。
目前，该片剧情保密，不过被描述为“一部环游世界、四象限、具有假日元素的动作冒险喜剧”，影片已定档于11月15日在北美上映，首款预告将于6月26日公开。
