剧集讲述了企鹅人奥斯瓦尔德·契斯特菲尔德·科波特在哥谭市黑社会的崛起。克里斯汀·米利欧缇加盟，饰演索菲亚·法尔科内，是《新蝙蝠侠》中约翰·特托罗饰演的反派卡迈恩·法尔科内的女儿，她将与企鹅人一起争夺哥谭市的控制权。
除了这部即将于9月19日播出的衍生剧《企鹅人》，马特·里夫斯执导的《新蝙蝠侠》第二部也已定档2026年10月2日登陆北美院线。
