根据官方发布的剧情梗概，影片讲述了知名网红小海茉和其恋人老板秦天龙争吵之际，门童王小普意外闯入，路人拍下三人同框照。为尽快平息“小海茉靠潜规则上位”的负面舆论，秦天龙说服王小普和小海茉假装情侣，两人就此上演了啼笑皆非的替身爱人戏码。
