电影将由提莫·塔哈亚托指导，鲍勃·奥登科克（《风骚律师》）、康妮·尼尔森（《神奇女侠》）回归出演。
电影《小人物》讲述了平凡生活的Hutch（鲍勃·奥登科克 饰）一家遭遇了小偷，而Hutch的懦弱引起了妻子和孩子的不满。为了恢复自己在家人中的形象，Hutch决定揭开自己的秘密过往，在枪林弹雨中拯救自己的家人。《小人物2》将接续第一部，继续讲述有着黑暗过去的“无名小卒”Hutch的故事。
