该剧改编自韩相云作家的小说《流感》，以军人李载允（朴正民 饰）和女友姜英柱（Jisoo 饰）的爱情故事为背景，讲述了两人分手当天，韩国爆发丧尸危机，他们不顾危险穿越充满丧尸的首尔市区，努力寻找彼此的故事。
《新乌托邦》由《狩猎的时间》尹成贤导演执导， 韩进元（《寄生虫》）、池浩镇（《杀人者的购物中心》）共同编剧，共8集，将于2月7日播出。
