网讯 据Deadline独家报道，环球影业正在筹备经典家庭喜剧片系列《拜见岳父大人》（Meet the Parents）第四部，约翰·汉博格（《夜校》）将执导并参与编剧。汉博格可谓对这个系列相当熟悉，他曾参与系列前三部的剧本创作。
第一部《拜见岳父大人》于2000年上映时，全球票房收入超过3.3亿美元，成为当年全球票房收入第七高的电影。其续集《拜见岳父大人2》（2004 年）和《拜见岳父大人3》（2010年）也取得了巨大的票房成功，该系列在全球票房总收入超过11.3亿美元。
据悉，原班人马罗伯特·德尼罗、本·斯蒂勒、特丽·波洛、布莱思·丹纳都将回归。
