据报道，曝光的全新片段中，包括“狐兔CP”前往沼泽度假胜地的场景。为Gary蛇献声的关继威也到场，他透露续集故事将围绕Gary展开，这条蛇在动物城制造混乱，迫使这对黄金搭档展开追捕行动。此外，夏奇拉将回归继续为传奇流行巨星“夏奇羊”献唱。
电影《疯狂动物城2》将于11月26日在北美上映。
