影片由伦·怀斯曼执导，《疾速追杀3》编剧谢伊·哈顿执笔剧本，以《疾速追杀3》中短暂出场、被训练为杀手的芭蕾舞女演员露妮为主角，讲述她如何向杀害家人的恶魔寻求复仇的故事。
电影《疾速追杀外传：芭蕾杀姬》将于6月6日在北美上映。
