2015年上映的《头脑特工队》开创性的以人类的情绪入手，讲述情绪与人类行为之间的关系。在片中，不同的情绪被拟人化，并用不同的颜色代表，非凡的想像力和创造力获得不少称赞。
影片在中国内地上映后，获得了9719万的票房成绩，不少影迷期待续集能够早日问世。
